The other day, while meditating on the ways of the Lord, I felt the Father give me this word straight from His heart to us. I listened and I wrote. This is what I heard. Perhaps it will speak to your heart.
"It grieves my heart when my children choose their own way of thinking and planning out their lives! I have so much more for them. But so often they insist on their own way. So often they believe that they know what is best for their life. And, they don't see My enemy working deception into their hearts.
Self-sufficiency and self-reliance are so prevalent today. These things have been raised up as idols.... golden calves in My sight. But the proud will not be able to stay their course for I am coming to bring a warning and an encouragement.
I warn My children that in the pathway of sin and self-righteousness lies death, discouragement, disease, and despair. But in the path of life I have such abundance of mercy and grace and the fulfillment of my promises!
I am not looking for my children to be puppets without a soul or with out a will. But I am desiring for my children to be willing to let the Potter's hand mold them into that which will be extremely pleasing to them and to Me.
Is this such a hard thing I ask? Is it unreasonable for Me to want to be at the helm of your lives... helping you to see the dangers and the pitfalls of life lived out of your own earthly wisdom and strength?
I am a loving Father full of wisdom and knowledge of what is best for you my children. Won't you consider coming to Me today? Won't you consider inquiring of Me in your much doing? Won't you think about spending time in My Word and with Me so that I might show you a better way?
I a not the author of confusion. My ways are ways of peace, ways of plenty, ways of love. My plans are all good for you! How can you know the source of your thoughts - if they are born of the flesh, the devil or of me, unless you come awhile and talk with me and listen to My council?
How My heart aches over the pain and misery of your lives. So much is because you choose your own direction. Now come and let us again be close. Come let us again be intimately involved with a way for your life that is very good. I love you! I have always loved you! Satan has lied to you and robbed from you in his many campaigns to trick you into believing that I have left you here to figure out life all alone....that somehow it is my plan for you to stumble and fall-over and over again!
IT IS NOT! It has always been my plan to provide you with My wisdom and knowledge, My grace and strength, My favor and blessings! For this cause I sent Jesus - to show you what power there is in a life fully yielded to My will. It is good!
Won't you turn from self-idolatry today and come and worship Me. In my presence is fullness of Joy. Come set your heart at rest in My presence. Cease from your own striving and bring me all your cares. Watch with eyes of faith at what I will do for you. My love for you is fathomless!"
