Election results are in. The Democrats have won. The Republicans are not happy. Many Christians may be tempted to be fearful of what the future holds.

FEAR NOT! Yes, "days of trouble" are coming. But it is not because of who wins an election. It is the prophetic season in which we are living. Lines are drawn. Darkness and "gross darkness"; moral, spiritual, and physical darkness is slithering at an increasing speed all over the world.

Again I write with the theme of hope and trust! Regardless of political parties and election results, our Father who is in heaven is also intimately active in the earth. He is still speaking "let there be light". He invites you today to come into His dwelling place and to find shelter in the light of His Presence. There He will set you "high upon THE Rock", Jesus. You will then see and understand the events of the world from that vantage point.

Listen, the Lord God Almighty is not shook up about the Democrats coming into "power", as some of you might be. He is THE POWER! He still reigns! Remember that! And like David, put your hope and confidence in Jesus' ability to shelter you in "the day of trouble".

Let's pray: Father God I thank you that no matter what happens in this world YOU are my shelter. Open my eyes to see and to understand the season and the times I am living in. And keep reminding me that in You I am always safe. In Jesus' Name, Amen
