Isaiah 41:13 For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, "Fear not, I will help you!"
As a child I loved the camping experiences my dad provided for us. Though it was challenging, I loved jumping from rock to rock in the rivers and along the shore lines of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. I still like doing that today in our West Virginia rivers. But sadly enough, I am not as flexible as I was at 10.
In the memories of those times one thing sticks out. My daddy was always there extending his hand to me. He was always ready to help me conquer my fear of falling. I am right handed, so it was natural for him to take a hold of my right hand.
Randy does the same for me. When we face difficult terrain in our hiking or I am attempting to cross a mountain stream, like my dad, he is there for me. His strong, loving grip on my hand really helps me push pass my fears.
No matter what challenge you are facing today, your loving Father has an even stronger hold on you. Hear His voice saying, “Fear not, I will help you!”
